St. Joseph School will open access to the Parent-Portal for students in grades three through eight. Since current grades and attendance are readily available, students in these grades will no longer receive a quarterly interim/progress report. Formal report cards will be distributed at the end of each quarter for students in grades one through eight and students in Kindergarten will receive a formal report card at the end of the first semester and at the end of the school year. Parents update personal information on PowerSchool. Parents are responsible for monitoring student progress at least twice a quarter in order to assure curriculum standards are met.Teachers are available to parents throughout the school year to keep the lines of communication open in the best interest of the students. Parent-teacher conferences are held school-wide at the end of the first grading period, and can be scheduled throughout the school year as necessary. Parents should first privately email a teacher with any concerns about a student or class concerns before seeking intervention by the school administration.
